Creating a Stylesheet

When you create a new MadCap Flare project, it has one stylesheet of inherited styles and MadCap styles. These styles are preset based on ages of tradition, or created for new MadCap features. You can create your own stylesheet and format your own styles to overwrite these presets.

1. Select the Project tab to open the Project ribbon.

2. Click the New icon on the left side of the Project ribbon. A drop-down menu appears.
3. Select Add Stylesheet from the drop-down menu. The Add File window appears.
4. Click Add. A new stylesheet appears in the Resources folder in the Content Explorer.
